Syntax highlighting for classes [message #49204] Wed, 04 June 2003 17:27 Go to next message

I've recently switched from Together to Eclipse. A feature I miss from
Together is the ability to provide syntax highlighting to classes. By
default it would would highlight any core Java runtime classes, but could be
configured to highlight any classes you wanted. This was a nice way to
verify that I spelled the name correctly, had the proper casing, etc.

Does anyone know of a third-party plugin that would provide this feature?

Thanks,
Bob

No idea, it would be nice. But Ctrl-Space (code completion) is your
friend and because Eclipse shows errors while you code you don't really
have to worry about knowing if you spelled it right, word is underlined
with red color if you have error there.

But it would be nice to have different color/font for classes and
instances. Make things easier to read.
