How to use HL7 communication? [message #47543] Wed, 10 September 2008 05:31 Go to next message

Hi,

I would like to write a standalone Eclipse RCP application that
communicates to a RIS via HL7.

I suppose OHF already has a plugin that handles this kind of
communication, but unfortunately I could not find the info I need to make
such an application with OHF.

Could you please point me to some info?

Regards,
Marton

Hi Marton,

We have an HL7 v2 suite of tooling. Probably the best sense of how to
use it could be done by looking through the pix and pdq plugins which
send HL7 v2 ADT feeds and QPD queries.

hope this helps ... perhaps Grahame can provide some other suggestions,
- Sarah
