Hi,

I am new to eclipse and using Version: 2.1.0 Build id: 200303071024
for my java development.

My colleague has another product - WSS-AD which is also built on top of
eclipse.

I would like to know how plug-ins in WSS-AD can be added into eclipse 2.1
It cannot be as simple as simply copying the resp plug-in dir
(with the about.html, <asscoiated-jar-file>, plugin.properties and
plugin.xml) into my eclipse installation.

There has to be something more to it.

for instance WSS-AD can edit xml files (web.xml and others) in multiple
ways.
While in eclipse it is only open in a standard text editor and edit.
Guess WSS-AD has a plug in for it which I would like to get into eclipse.

Any clues will be appreciated.
