Eclipse built-in CVS and TortoiseCVS again [message #42869]

Hi!

I've brought this up earlier. If I Checkout a Project from Eclipse (Java IDE)
and then try to perform cvs commands from outside using Tortoise I get the "This
CVS sandbox may be for Unix, not Windows" error dialog message.

I can of course disable this check in the TortoiseCVS - is this safe?
Or is there another way - e.g. can I configure Eclipse to use Windows style line
endings?
