Can not start the CDT debugger (2) [message #36975]

I've moved to the new GA Eclipse, but still can't start the debugger
following the CDT tutorial. After the debug launch configuration (of local
type) is started, the debug perspective is opened with a row:

"State: <waiting for engine> Connection: local <localhost:8001>,"

while in the tutorial is shown that "Debug UI daemon listening on 8001".

What should I do for activation/start this daemon or is there any other
way to run the debugger? Can anybody help me???
