Hi,
We have recieved a great deal of very thoughtful feedback to the
proposal. Some if it has been posted here in the newsgroup and some
hase been via email directly to Barbara and myself. In the spirit of
"openness and transparency" we wish to make all of the thoughts and
comments about the proposal available her in the newsgroup for all
interested parties. We hope that these comments will trigger further
conversation that will contribute to the maturing of the proposal.
Rather than simply recreating the comments that we recieved via email
here, we have decided to create several threads, each one focused on a
topic and publish the comments and our resonbse to these.
We truly thank everyone who has taken the time to review the proposal
and especially those who have shown their support by providing
thoughtful feedback.
