Eclipse not launching after initial launch [message #1863001]

I'm having trouble running eclipse, I was able to start and run the program after the initial download but after making some tutorial programs and closing it I am unable to open it again. I can open it if I uninstall it and redownload it, but everytime I close out of it and try to reopen it, it pops up with the loading screen.

Any help would be appreciated.

What operating system are you on? Where on your machine are you installing Eclipse? If you run it from the command line with eclipse -consoleLog -debug does that provide clues you can share?
