For some reason recent session usage of Oomph installer dialog pages are not saved to e.g. <eclipse-installer root>/configuration/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.oomph.setup.ui/dialog_settings.xml.
I am using the installer in the "Advanced mode".
For example, if I check the "Show all variables" check box on the variable page, this setting does not get saved. Next time when I run the eclipse-installer again I have to check this check box again.

At some time in the past (maybe in 2020 / 2021) this behavior was different - each time I did change some config on a dialog page, then this did have been persisted and I did get this as the default dialog setting on subsequent sessions.
I am using the standalone installation of the eclipse.installer unzipped from https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/oomph/drops/release/1.28.0/products/eclipse-inst-jre-win64.zip and running eclipse-inst.exe.

What would be the pre-requisites to get this working again?
