Good morning,

The ASN.1 files provided with standards IEE1609.2.1 are using extensively the statement WITH SUCCESSOR.

Unfortunately, while building the ETSI ITS PKI test suite, I got the following error:

syntax error, unexpected WITH

Hi Yann,

Are you referring the ASN.1 files linked on the standard's page (https://standards.ieee.org/ieee/1609.2.1/10728/), right?
It seems that the compiler does not implement this language feature. We are investigating what actually needs to be added.

Hi Yann,

I committed a hotfix (https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipse/titan/titan.core/-/issues/693). The compiler now accepts the 'WITH SUCCESSOR' and 'WITH DESCENDANTS' syntaxes, but it does nothing with it, i.e. no semantic checks are performed on that part of the code yet.
