Hey, I have an exceptionally slow machine (Molecule with 1 gig of smash). I use Notepad++ regularly, but right now I need more development features like a debugger, code completion, and so on.
I attempted the accompaniment and could have done without:
PHPStorm (slow and memory hungry)
Netbeans (same as PHPStorm)
Obscure PDT (same as PHPStorm)
Glorious Text 2 (many modules are a real pain to work with, it would take me weeks to get it the way I wanted. Some modules gave me errors that I haven't been able to deal with after looking through a ton.)
Do you know of any lightweight PHP IDE that is sufficient and can essentially propose code completion, debuggin (xdebug?) and recognition of punctuation errors as you type?
