Kindly let me know if there is any kind of the costing involved in the use of BRIT reporting used at enterprise level and it's details.

Hello Gopal,

the usage of BIRT is free of all cost also on enterprise usage.
The only cost you have are internal cost for the report development but the software and components are free.

You cann also add for example special plugins of you requirements and add these to your BIRT-installation.

If you have more requirements on connection management or user management or any thing else then you need a framework which assist you on this side because many of this features are not part of BIRT.

One of these frameworks are servBIRD by Tradui Technologies GmbH.
But this enterprise plattform isn't for free but the core is based on BIRT-reports and you can use the standard reproting-files of BIRT.

I don't think Actuate discloses their prices to the public.

There are some more features with the enterprise BIRT version such as security, interactivity, etc.

They did offer free trails at one point. I would just go directly to Actuate to find out details.

You don't need this paid version to embed your reports into an enterprise wide application.
