Galileo problems? [message #336817] |

I have encountered some problems with Galileo:
1) Galileo does not save selected perspectives
in the toolbar when exiting and thus starting
eclipse only displays JavaEE. Note, I usually
have my perspectives toolbar docked on the left
side.
2) Somehow, I have lost on startup, the option
to select my workspace. Where can I reactivate
this default setting?
I could not locate a newsgroup that is specific to
the Galileo release, so I am not sure this is the
correct newsgroup to which to post this message.
Thanks!

Due to this step failing to prompt users for
workspace on startup, it continues on with the
last saved workspace regardless if the workspace
path is preference saved or completely removed of
which I erroneously reported (1) above as an error.
I had assumed I was working with the last saved
workspace on shutdown and this mechanism failed.
So - there is a problem specifically with the
Startup/Shutdown handler in regards to the
workspace switcher, or so it seems.

Never mind this request, I found it in:
Windows->Preferences->General->Startup and Shutdown->Workspaces
New Additions:
Subversion under Galileo does not work cleanly
as it works fine under Ganamede.
1) Galileo Svn does not correctly show trunk trees
(it shows only subsets of projects).
2) Galileo Svn has severe problems in saving projects
as it results in a corrupted repository, directory,
or files and incorrectly displays results and errors.
3) Galileo Svn has problems with authentication whereas
this is not a problem under Ganamede.
