Debug UI: Entering debugger commands by hand? [message #336512] |

First of all, I never can quite remember where it is appropriate to post
questions about the debug GUIs (and the newsgroup overview on eclipse.org
is not really very helpful.) If this is not the correct place, can someone
please point me in the right direction?
Then the question:
When using Eclipse as front-end for a command based debugger like gdb, is
there any way I can get a debugger prompt and enter commands directly? I'm
not able to find an appropriate view for this...
Thanks,
- Toralf

Ah. Now I see. I tried using the console earlier, of course, but I never
realised there were different console variants.
Thanks.

OK. I'll try to remember that later.
