Hello there.

Does anyone now, how to sort the preference pages shown in a preference
dialog?
Ive found this thread which treats with the subject:

But unfortunately there is no solution given.

Anybody nows a clean way to manage that? I think there must be one, as the
General-page is on the top in the standard Eclipse preference dialog as
well...

Matt,

I recently found out that there is a way to sort the preference
page in the order you want (only when you are creating an RCP app) You
need to implement IContributionService or just extend the
WorkbenchAdvisor.getComparatorFor() and return your own comparator
