| MacOS X: Cannot run or debug Eclipse Application [message #333463] | Fri, 12 December 2008 03:47 | |
| Eclipse User | | | | | Hi
I'm trying to get the stp.bpmn modeler to run from eclipse. I checked
out the sources, wrote my patch and would like to test it. But I cant
run or debug it from within Eclipse.
I was first using the Eclipse classic package (3.4.1) and used p2 to get
all dependencies of the modeler. After that wont execute at all, I tried
to create a new workspace, which wont help. So I downloaded the Eclipse
Modelling Tools package, created a new workspace, checked out the
sources of the modeler and still can't run it.
I checked the compiler levels and run configuration with the committers
of the modeler, which wont help to get it running.
I downloaded the newest integration build for Cocoa, where Eclipse wont
 start at all.

There is nothing in the logs of Eclipse about it and the workspace for
my bpmn modeler instance isn't created. Nothing in the console too.

All I have is the exit code 139 which is printed out in the debug view
 (<terminated, exit value: 139>

What I can tell is that a simple Hello World example will run and can be
 debugged.

I'm pretty lost with this one and I hope some of you could help me.

 Thanks in advance
 Till
