64bit eclipse on HP-UX with GTK [message #332265]

Hi,

We are in the process of building 64bit eclipse with gtk. Our build goes
through fine but some of the files are not getting created. After
comparing to other OS following are the files not getting created in the
plugins directory
org.eclipse.swt.gtk.hpux.ia64_64_3.5.0.v3509c.jar
org.eclipse.equinox.launcher.gtk.hpux.ia64_64_1.0.200.v20080 731-1700

I have downloaded the 32bit swt and converted to 64bit and placed in
plugins directory. I donno why those 2 files are not getting created. Any
help in this regard will be useful.

You will need to create those fragments yourself and put them in the
plugins directory of the build.

You can take the fragments from some other platform and modify it as
appropriate. Modification will include changing the MANIFEST.MF, change
the *.properties files, and recompile the native libraries for
gtk.hpux.ia64_32.

Recompiling the native code is the big step. While it may be possible
to simply recompile the launcher for gtk.hpux.ia64_32 (by starting with
some other gtk port). I'm not very familiar with SWT, which may take
actual code changes to get it working on that platform.
