External tools and Build configuration variables [message #332152]

Hi all,

I would like to start an external tool with in argument the name of the
file generated after a Build in a specific build directory.
So, I would like to get the selected build configuration (or the
specific build directory) from the external tool command line.

I was thinking using the variable ${build_project} but this
${build_project} is "a non-existent resource".
Even with a build environment variable $(env_var:my_build_variable},
this variable seems to be created only for the build.

Any idea ?

I am using
Eclipse Platform Version: 3.4.0
CDT Version: 5.0
