Different GNU Tool Chain and PATH variable [message #1759372] Tue, 11 April 2017 06:24

Until now I'm using different Eclipse versions (Kepler, Mars, Neon) with
always the same old GNU ARM tool chain.

Because the old tool chain will not further be supported, I need to
switch to another newer chain. However, I would like to keep the older
Eclipse versions, the projects, as well as the old GNU ARM tool chain.

I tried it, but I run into a problem.

I think I need two PATH variables , each for one of the GNU ARM tool chains.
My problem now is, depending on the first found fitting PATH variable
( if I change the order), either the include paths of an old project now points
to the new chain or otherwise, in case of new project, the include paths
point to the old chain.

Can anybody advice how to fix this problem please?

Thank you very much.
