Hi all,
Per https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=240500, how can I make
the changes to org.eclipse.equinox.launcher.WebStartMain in Comment 31
(https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=240500#c31) and compile the
new .jar myself? So far, there are only patches for 3.2 and 3.4 on offer,
and I'm using 3.3.
A second option is of course to upgrade to 3.4, since Comment 34
(https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=240500#c34) sounds like the
patch has been put into the current version ("Fix is released to HEAD
(3.5) and 3.4.1."). However, when I log onto the Eclipse CVS repository
and look at the source files for org.eclipse.equinox.launcher, the changes
have not been made.
I feel like I'm misunderstanding a few fundamentals here, and would be
extremely grateful if someone would take the time to explain to me what I
need to take into account.
