I have faced the following issue when I have tried to install ecore modelling tools as described in https://wiki.eclipse.org/Sirius/Tutorials/DomainModelTutorial.
I have tried http://download.eclipse.org/ecoretools/updates/releases/3.1.0/neon
but when I am trying to create a modelling project, eclipse has the error:

java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: org.eclipse.sirius.viewpoint.DView.getOwnedRepresentations()Lorg/eclipse/emf/common/util/EList;
at org.eclipse.emf.ecoretools.design.ui.wizard.EcoreModelerWizard.openFirstRepresentation(EcoreModelerWizard.java:300)

I mention that eclipse is neon.2 and it is a fresh install (nothing except the installer).

Has anyone seen the error before?

Hi,

Ecoretools 3.1.0 is not compatible with Sirius 4.1.x. According to your error I guess you are on Sirius 4.1 or a nightly build.
Installing EcoreTools 3.2.0 should solve your issue: http://download.eclipse.org/ecoretools/updates/nightly/3.2.x/neon
