I am pretty new to Eclipse. Recently I am working on projects with C++ and python on Ubuntu. So I am just wondering what version of Eclipse I should use? Please tell me the download location. Thanks so much!

I do C and Python co-development a lot. I recommend downloading Eclipse from https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/ and adding the PyDev plug-ins from http://www.pydev.org/

At the recent EclipseCon France I did a session on CDT (C/C++ Development Tools in Eclipse) and as part of that I showed co-debugging Python and C code. Hopefully the video of the presentation will be posted soon. When it is, I will add it to my blog: https://kichwacoders.com/

More specifically if it helps:

On 64-bit Linux the installer is: https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/oomph/epp/mars/R2/eclipse-inst-linux64.tar.gz
Download that and choose C/C++ Dev

The pre-made C/C++ Dev Package is: http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/technology/epp/downloads/release/mars/2/eclipse-cpp-mars-2-linux-gtk-x86_64.tar.gz
