Hi everyone,
can you explain me, how Jubula works? I find this picture and information "AUT Agent provides communication with application under test and AUT Agent run test". But which is the function of the "Test Executor"? What is the differents between AUT Agent and Test Executor?
Thanks.

Hi Irena,

have you already tried out the Cheat Sheets which you can find when you start the ITE and select "Help/Cheat Sheets" from the menu bar. This will give you a quick overview of how Jubula works. In addition to that you can find the User Manual here. If you have further questions please do not hesitate to contact us via our testing portal for support, consulting, courses etc.

To give you a quick overview:

- The ITE is the client part where you create and manage your test cases
- In the database all your projects are stored which contain your test cases
- The AUT Agent (AUT = Application under test) starts your AUT and executes the single test steps like click, replace text etc. in it
- The AUT... well is your AUT. It is the piece of software you would like to test via the GUI
- The Test Executor can be used for headless test execution e.g. for nightly test execution started via Hudson, Jenkins etc.

Regards
Oliver
