What did you download?
I recommend not trying to understand them all. Start with what you
actually need and move out from there. Having said that, you should
probably try to start familiarizing yourself with Mylyn fairly early.
The documentation that ships with the package is a good place to start.
Project websites are often also provide good help for new users.
There's pointers to help on the downloads page. For example:
