Hello,

I have a Dynamic Web project on eclipse using glassfish 3.1.2 server. Since I have changed to Eclipse Luna and greater, hot deployment does not work anymore. Hot deployment used to work on eclipse Kepler and older : when I updated a file which does not need compilation (xhtml or css) then it was deployed intantly on glassfish.

Many subjects (at least 4) exist on Stackoverflow about that topic, but none has a correct answer. So the question is : how to restore the hot deployment of xhtml or css in eclipse Luna+ ?

For information:

  • I always used "Never publish automatically",
  • I do not use maven
  • I have tried all solutions explained, but none let me hot deploy has I did when using eclipse Kepler and lower.

Thanks in advance.

Regards, Sam
