Hi,

I would like to ask you for little help. Is it possible or what strategy would you take to migrate project from jubula 2.0.0 to at least jubula 7.2.

I am trying to migrate with test->export/import and in freezes like in the picture below. Do you have some experience or so ?

Hello,

Thank you for your question.

Do I understand correctly that you are using the Jubula Standalone 2.0.0 to export the project?

If so, then the migration steps should be to:
- export the project (how large is the xml file when you export it?)
- import it (at leat theoretically, and possibly practically) into 7.1,, then export it and import it into 7.2, ... etc

However, it doesn't look like the import is failing based on bad versions - can you add:
- the log files for the client log when you try to perform the import
- information on whether it works via the dbtool (perform the import via the dbtool)
- which database you are using
- how much memory the client is running with (if it seems to be a memory problem, you can try increasing the memory)

Yes. I am using Jubula Standalone 2.0.0

Exported xml file has around 25MB.

Please find enclosed client log. It seems problem with not enough heap space, beaucse of lot of errors like this: 
 ERROR o.e.j.c.c.p.TestResultSummaryPM - Duplicate Test Result Summary (GUID=1b33804e4899431388b542e06b235ca8) will not be imported.

I deleted also test results summeries in test results summary view, but it is still somehow exported. I dont understand it.

Thanks for the information. I doubt that the duplicate test result summaries are to do with heap space - it would normally say if that is the problem.

Can you try importing it via the dbtool and see if that works?

Excellent! I'm not sure why you couldn't import via the ITE, but since the version is quite old, it's ok to have a workaround. Are you planning on migrating further to a newer version (e.g. 8.2.1?).
