I don't have experience installing the "standard" version. I would just
install Eclipse IDE for Java Developers, then go to Help -> Eclipse
Marketplace and look for PyDev.

Incidentally, do not come to this forum for help with PyDev issues.
PyDev is a set of thir-party plug-ins and you'll have to get help for
them in a different forum, perhaps stackoverflow.com.
