Hi,
I have used eclipse some months in a J2SE project and I think it is really
good tool, I have also used these plugins: JadClipse and Jalopy.
But if I want't to develop application for the J2ME and J2EE platform and
using the eclipse platform, what extra plugins do I need?
What do you recommend, what is a good start?
Today I prefer to use: Borland Jbuilder Enterprise 8, Borland Together
Edition for JBuilder (version 6.0), Sun wireless toolkit and Nokia
developer suite for the J2ME.
Best Regards,
Ove

Well, AFAIK, 2.1 is stable enough. I am using it from the day it appeared
with no problems (the Windows version). I am also using 2.1.1 Linux GTK
version that has some issues (will go for the latest 3.0 integration build
tomorrow :-).

Just unzip the 2.1 version in a different location than 2.0.2 (until you are
confortable with it, then you can erase 2.0.2) and start eclipse with the
-data argument pointing to your old workspace. For example,
C:\Eclipse_2.1\eclipse -data C:\workspace.
Also, a good idea is to keep your workspace outside the eclipse directory.
