Cannot run PHP CLI scripts [message #1693078]

I get a window titled No PHP executables defined with the message "There is no PHP executable defined in the workspace. Please define at least one PHP executable before continuing."
However, Ihave XAMPP 's php defined in PHP Executables in Preferences.

Your help will be greatly appreciated;
