I cannot understand what the "[peralta master]" is coming from. Also, folders are preceded with "<"

When I created the project I named it "peralta" and I've created many projects in the past and didn't have any issues.

Not sure if the image will display above but I think there is one attached as well.

Any ideas?

It's from git.
Folders prefixed with ">" - modified dir (in compare to current HEAD)
master - is your branch name.
