Javadoc location in workplace [message #313533] Fri, 16 March 2007 16:06 Go to next message

I have a jar file in a version controlled project and want to attach a
Javadoc archive to it. However, it is not obvious how I can enter the
location of the archive relative to the workspace, it seems to want an
absolute file location.

Could somebody please let me know if there is a way to specify the archive
relative to the workspace?

Create a link in your project to the Javadoc location. Use the Variable
option when creating the link. Links are created from the New->Folder
dialog. Click on Advanced.

Thanks Dave, but I don't see how that would solve my problem... I would
still have to put an absolute path in the .classpath file, which is under
version control and therefore will appear in many people's tree apart from
my own. There is no apparent way to link a project-relative javadoc to a
jar file, it must be absolute.
