Hello all!

We have a problem with final Eclipse 3.2 - CVS do not work properly :(
while with Eclipse 3.2M3 there are no such problems...
with 3.2M3 all works fine...

We using cvsnt-2.5.03.2382 as cvs server in :pserver mode.

We have problems while sincronization with CVS it writes such error:
--------------------------
Problems reported while synchronizing CVS Workspace. 0 of 1 resources were
synchronized.
An error occurred synchronizing /City Reports: The following warnings
were reported while performing the "cvs update" command.
The following warnings were reported while performing the "cvs update"
command.
City Reports: cvs server: cannot open directory . for empty check: No
such file or directory.
---------------------------

What could I do in this situation?

Hello, All

Now we have ALL fine with cvs NT with Eclipse 3.3M3

Also I think to share my experience with cvs NT and Eclipse:
1) So once after moving our repository to another computer we encountered a wery SLOW performance in ALL actions with CVS: the
problem was with network settings :) in local-area-network connection properties was by mistake assigned wrong ip address for DNS
server, after correction perfomace became normal.

2) Security issue. In order to give access to cvs for developers only we create [cvs] group in local groups at computer where cvs nt
is installed. and set acces right for folder with CVS_REPOSITORY only for this group, but after that cvs nt can't read data from
repository the reason: you should give access rights for CVS_REPOSITORY folder also for System :) obvious decision now, but some
time before we can't guess why our cvs is not working...

hope this could help to some one else...

With best regards, Alexey Kuznetsov. E-mail: kuaw26@mail.ru
