Goal

test new functionality added since 4.6 M5
verify that severe bugs are correctly fixed

Test New Functionality

Note: First test the items where your name is listed first. Then test the other items.

M6 New and Noteworthy (Dani, Markus - Questions: ...)

Test the items that are currently listed in the M6 New and Noteworthy.

Count comment width from starting position (Noopur, Markus - Questions: Mateusz, Dani)

Verify that

by default the formatting is the same as in M5
enabling the new option counts the comment width from the start of the comment instead of column 1

New option: Unlikely argument type for collection methods using 'Object' (Markus, Noopur - Questions: Till)

Verify that the new option works as expected.

HiDPI composite icons in Platform and JDT UI (Dani, Noopur (if you have a HiDPI machine available) - Questions: Markus)

verify that icons with overlays look crisp (e.g. Quick Outline, Package Explorer)
verify that third-party overlays still look OK (e.g. EGit overlays in Package Explorer)

Sanity Check The Build (All)

Sanity check the build by using it for development (either on "real" code or your pet project), with focus on changes made in Platform UI.
