GMF 2.2 Validation with former oAW Check Language [message #479192] |

Hello,
since the release of Eclipse 3.5 Galileo I have a problem with the
integration of the former oAW's Check Language:
I used the extension "org.openarchitectureware.adapter.emf.check.checks"
for the validation of GMF diagrams by enabling the validation in the GMF
Genmodel.
This worked fine for batch validation.
In the new Eclipse release I found the extension
"org.eclipse.xtend.typesystem.emf.checks", which is similiar to the above
mentioned from oAW.
So this extension works fine for the validation of EMF models, but not
longer for the validation of GMF diagrams, there is no menu-item
"Validate" under the "Diagram"-section in the menubar.
What could be the problem, perhaps a missing dependency?
Thanks in advance,
Benjamin

Hi,
so I "solved" the problem - the menu-item for diagram validation can be
found under "Edit", whereas the item for the validation of tree-editors is
located under "Editor", which would be the corresponding place for the
"Diagram" menu, where I searched for the "validate".
Very strange decision...
Greets,
Benjamin
