With Config Area readonly starting activator fails [message #629732]

Eclipse User

Hi,

in our systen environment users don't have permission to write to the
config directory. So we added the property:
osgi.configuration.area.readOnly=true.
With this property the start of the activators fails with:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError

Without the property osgi.configuration.area.readOnly=true the
application starts without errors.

What miss I?
