I work for an insurance company that is participating with similar
companies to create a specialized web application for our niche of
insurance (lawyers professional liability). What I'd say-Birt needs work,
but can do a lot of work, and you can't beat the price. I think they have
the right idea-use javascript that web developers are familiar with, and a
simple to use graphical report designer.
