connectivity issues when trying to update/install plugins [message #696607]

hello!
i have used eclipse Helios in linux for a while and all was well.
yesterday i installed Indigo and now i can't update or install plugins :\
the error log is in attachment. the repository connections all timeout.

i had no problem with helios and there is no proxy.

if there's anything else i can provide so you can help, please let me know.

Which JRE are you using?

I am using the openjdk jre.

I forgot to say before, i tried to regress to helios, but now helios doesn't work either :S
i thought yesterday's kernel update might be a problem, but i tried with previous kernel versions and doesn't work either.

Which version? If you're using the latest then you're probably running
into https://bugs.eclipse.org/317785.

np. The bug is happening when sorting the IUs. So, depending on what/how
you select things the can appear or not.
