Project Roles and Meritocracy
In this month’s session, we spoke briefly about roles in the Eclipse Foundation Development Process that are formally defined (contributors, committers, and project leads) along with de facto roles like technical leads and product manager (spoiler: product manager is a role that doesn’t make sense in the context of vendor neutral open source).
We also spoke briefly about copyright and symmetrical inbound/outbound licensing.
