2026 election key dates

Each year, the Eclipse Foundation holds elections for board members representing two very important groups within the Eclipse membership: the Committer Members and the Contributing Members. The terms of office for these elected board members is one year, commencing April 1.

2026 key dates

• 05 January - Nominations open. To nominate a Committer/Contributing Member representative, send an email to elections@eclipse.org
• 30 January - Nominations close at 21h CET / 3 pm EST
• 02 February - List of candidates published on the 2026 Board Candidates page
• 04 February - Deadline for candidates to return their content for the candidate page to elections@eclipse.org
• 05 February - Deadline for candidates to review their candidate pages
• 06 February - Individual candidate pages made available on the 2026 Board Candidates page
• 09 February - Voting begins. Eligible voters receive a notice to vote and credentials by email
• 27 February - Voting ends at 21h CET/ 3 pm EST
• 02 March - New representatives announced via Community Bulletin
