Spoiler alert: 162 million!
That’s right, as of August 1st, there are 330 active open-source projects hosted at the Eclipse Foundation and if you look across the 1120 Git repositories that this represents, you will find over 162 million physical source lines of code. But beyond this number, take a look at how it was obtained, and what it really means!

The Eclipse Foundation IT staff have been working hard at making major improvements to the Common Build Infrastructure. We are in the process of rolling out CBI 3.0, which will leverage Jenkins CloudBees Enterprise, and will now define Resource Packs -- specific services and resource allotments -- that can be utilized by projects.
These Packs will allow us to offer more consistent levels of services and resources to all projects and will clarify what projects can expect from their CBI service. The rollout of this new service model will also help highlight the value for member companies who are interested in, and committed to the success of Eclipse projects. For more information, please follow bug 538754.
