Hello,

if i customize code in a emf model, i use the org.eclipse.emf.mwe2.ecore.EcoreGenerator. Same like here https://christiandietrich.wordpress.com/2013/07/26/use-of-ecoregenerator-to-customize-emfs-generated-java-classes/

But the key word "Custom" doesn't work for the edit code. Does anybody know a Generator for the edit code to use Generation Gap? Or know what i have to do in org.eclipse.emf.mwe2.ecore.EcoreGenerator?

Thanks Smile

Dennis,

I think the MWE folks only cared about the model code not the edit and
editor code, so I don't think anything supports that.

Yes i know, but my hope is that anybody (itemis people) can show what i have to do. Or maybe the expense is too high for this feature.

I believe https://github.com/mbarbero/emf-loophole, which automates this
pattern, supports it for the .edit part (no mention of the editor part).
I have not tested it though.

Hi,

thanks for your quick reply.
The Project doesn't exist. Is the project private?
The model and edit part is completely enough for my code generation

Best Regards

The project does exist, and is public: it just seems the Eclipse forum software mishandled the URL I gave and included the trailing comma in the link. The proper URL is: https://github.com/mbarbero/emf-loophole

Is there a possibility to generate the Code (gengapmodel) without IDE e.g. with MWE2 or direkt maven?
