Hello,

I am trying to build the current Papyrus source code using the master banch on Luna. So far, I am experiencing several compilation issues, such as missing classes (for example org.eclipse.gmf.runtime.emf.type.core.ElementTypeUtil or org.eclipse.gmf.runtime.emf.type.core.IAdviceBindingDescriptor). I am wondering what is the platform actually supported and the configuration that works with the master branch and/or if there is a particular setup to use to use the sources of Papyrus.

Thanks.

Julien.

Hi, Julien,

You cannot build the master branch on a Luna platform. It requires the
Mars release of Eclipse Platform, GMF, EMF, and others.

(the particular GMF classes that you reference are new in GMF Mars M5
last week)

You need to check out the streams/1.0-maintenance branch from git if
you need to build a Luna version.

Cheers,

Christian
