Hi there,

Is it possible to have permanently the display of the hyperlink icon (to switch from one diagram to another) ?

The problem is that when you navigate in a model, you cannot see directly that behind a object, there is a link to another diagram...you have to wait half a second and then it disappears again !!!

If this is not possible, what is your trick ?

Thank you

Philip

Hi Philip,

It isn't possible to customize the delay for the hyperlink icon, and there is no shortcut to make it appear immediately.

However, implicit navigation may help in some cases: if the element "contains" a Diagram, you can navigate to this diagram using Alt + Left click (Equivalent to the Ctrl + Click in Eclipse, e.g. the Java editor). The Alt + Click is supported in the Model Explorer and the Diagrams, but only a few navigation strategies are available:

- Navigate to the diagram(s) owned by the hovered element
- Navigate to the type of a Property/Parameter/Operation
- Navigate to the Behavior of a CallBehaviorAction

If the diagram is not directly "owned" by the element, then the automatic navigation won't help (e.g. you can't navigate to the Activity Diagram representing the ClassifierBehavior of an Active Class from the Class, because the diagram is owned by the Activity; not by the Class. It is however accessible from the Activity)

HTH,
Camille
