I've been going through Dexters debugging tutorial using the latest version of Eclipse and noticed a few discrepancies between his course what is actually shown in Eclipse. When I go into one of the java files I can select a function.function.function, then right click it, select watch, and make this into a watch point. The menu that comes up in my Eclipse shows no watch icon or even the inspect icon. I found it hard to believe that the newest version of Eclipse doesn't have these options, so how do I configure Eclipse to allow me to add in watches and inspect. Also in the debug perspective there many duplicate icons that should not be there: Remove Selected Breakpoints, Remove All Breakpoints, and Add Java Exception Breakpoint, and Focus on active task. There pairs of each of these and I would sure like to know how to remove the duplicates.

This isn't an EMF question. Try eclipse.newcomer or eclipse.tools.jdt
