getting exception while opening a BIRT design file in BIRT "java.lang.NullPointerException" [message #1572342]

Hi All,

I am facing an issue while opening a BIRT design file in BIRT as receiving an error "Java.lang.NullPointerException". not able to identify why issue is happening.
request you to please help me to find out the possible cause of it or if someone already faced the same kind of issue.

Could you provide some additional details?

Are you receiving this error within the designer when opening the report to be edited?
or are you receiving this error when running the report?
Which version of BIRT are you using?
