I'm new to Birt and went to the downloads page. It looked like the All-in-one package was the right way to go as it said it contained all the necessary dependencies for Birt. I downloaded the package and it says it requires a password to extract the files???

Not sure what to do with that...

It's been a while since I saw anyone report this problem, but it's the Windows built-in ZIP handling that gets confused and thinks you need a password. Try opening the downloaded zip using a third-party tool such as 7-zip, WinRAR, WinZip, etc.
