Are you saying you want to java.exe instead of javaw.exe or are you
saying you want to use a different JRE entirely from the default?
If you are saying you want to switch to use java.exe, then on the Java
Application Launch Configuration of interest, switch to the "JRE" page,
select "Alternate JRE", select the JRE of interest, and then in the
group just below that select "Alternate" radio button and put in java
instead.
If you are saying you want to switch to a different JRE entirely, then
go to Windows->Preferences->Java->Installed JRE's, and use the "ADD"
button to add a new jre. You can then make it the default for the
workspace there.

Hi Rich,
I am using Eclipse 3.0 and Windows XP.
Click on Eclipse Help/ About Eclipse platform/ Configuration Details/
I can see my Java VM path is "eclipse.vm=C:\WINDOWS\system32\javaw.exe"
How can I change this path to other directory?
Thanks!

Hi Eric:
For the command line eclipse.exe -vm c:\....
1) You need to type in the command line-vm everytime you start up eclipse,
is there a permanet way?
2) Eclipse 3.0 is in GUI. Is there any GUI way, instead of command line?
