Hello,
I know very little of Eclipse, but have been told it is a good development platform
that offers a unified environment.
There appear to be different versions of Eclipse - one almost for
each computer languange.
This is what I want to do:
1) Develop, cross compile and cross debug programmes for the
Raspberry Pi and Banana Pi. Languages C,C++,C#,Python and Java
(educational). I have found this:
2) OtherLinus based boards such as UDOO, Cubiboard3 etc
3) Windows Programming in Java
4) Perhaps integrating my Visual Studio into Eclipse for C++ and primarily C#
If all this is possible (and advisable) I will start intensively learning about Eclipse
by reading and doing.
I would be grateful for any advice,pointer,tips and information.

Pick one and add the others via Help -> Eclipse Marketplace.
For example, install Eclipse IDE for Java Developers and add the Eclipse
CDE plug-ins and the PyDev plug-in.
As for your fruity things, I don't know anything about them.

Thanks for the info. I will do that.
Raspberry Pi (The fruity one) is a small but powerful computer using Linux or Andriod and was originally conceived for schools, but
it powerful enough for the experimenters and IoT . Further info please see www.raspberrypi.org (512Mb RAM single core, up to 32GB SD, 2 USB etc . and www.bananapi.com (1GM RAM and dual core)
You can do a lot with these boards.
