How to download remote folder (via FTP, I think) [message #27973] Sat, 04 October 2008 20:46 Go to next message

Hi,

When I right-click on remote folders there is no option to download the
folder. The 'Copy' operation doesn't work (at least, not to Windows
Explorer). This is using the FTP service, as far as I know. There's
'Import To Project...', but that's not what I want to do. I want to
download a copy to my local file system.

Thanks,

Glen.

The remote copy/paste support won't work for Windows Explorer right now, but
you should be able to copy/paste to the Local system in in Remote System
explorer view. Have you tried that?

Hi Dave,

I don't see the local system in the Remote Systems view.

These are the RSE views that I have:

- Remote Monitor
- Remote Scratchpad
- Remote Search
- Remote Shell
- Remote System Details
- Remote Systems
- Team

Glen.

Hi Glen,

I would have expected a Local connection to exist by default but perhaps it
got deleted. Anyway, you can create one by using the New Connection wizard
to create a "Local" connection.
