I am going through a few tutorials and books, and I hope sharing them is of benefit to the wider development community.
Notwithstanding this, having installed Eclipse (Mars) on my Windows 8 laptop does not seem to allow me to create apps and games with ease, for various reasons including problems during the installation and problems with dependencies of particular plug-ins that I do not know who to address.
For example, I created a Nexus One mobile app and I am trying to figure out:
a) how to access the command line SDK, I found many guides but no solution
b) why I run an app (AVD) and it takes so long for the AVD to boot and can I take shortcuts for testing?
c) how I create a simple OnClick event without coding fifty lines of code
(sample app needed)
d) who is going to sort out this error, as members of the Eclipse bugs forum are very selective as to the bug reporting criteria and I am just starting out:
Description Resource Path Location Type
error: Error: Integer types not allowed (at 'minHeight' with value '100'). activity_fullscreen.xml /ThePhone/res/layout line 54 Android AAPT Problem
e) it seems that some JAR files are missing from stuff installed through Help > Eclipse Marketplace, how do I seek support on these, please?

I report bugs at https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi?classification=__all, but not sure where to discuss any issues relevant to Google IDEs such as Google Glass IDE Development.
