Hello,

According to this blog post (http://eclipsesource.com/blogs/tutorials/emf-forms-renderer/#javafx), EMF Forms 1.4.0 should be shipping with an exemple application where JavaFX is used as UI toolkit.

However, after installing the EMF Forms SDK , I can choose a lot of example applications related to EMF Forms but JavaFX is not among them.

Has anyone an idea if how I can get to this example application ?

Thanks,

Thomas Elskens

Hi,

for 1.4.0, we hosted the JavaFX example on a different Update Site.
Since 1.5.0 it is integrated into the SDK (The tutorial is based on
1.5.0). I therefore suggest you update to the latest 1.5.0 milestone.

Best regards

Jonas

Thanks for the quick reply.

So I've found the latest 1.5.0 and the example, but somehow all the org.eclipse.emf.ecp.view.spi.* packages are missing (I found them in the Javadoc). Particularly org.eclipse.emf.ecp.view.spi.context is required to make the example compile.

I downloaded the entire EMF Forms SDK, but there is perhaps another Installable Unit I should consider ... ?

I downloaded the source code and found the answer : org.eclipse.emf.ecp.view.spi.context is located in the bundle org.eclipse.emf.ecp.view.context.

Being new to Eclipse I was unaware of this naming convention (https://wiki.eclipse.org/SPI_description).
